Assistant Manager, Sales and Customer Service
Full time, permanent, Office-based or hybrid opportunity (min 2 days per week in the office in Wallington, Surrey)

The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Assistant Manager leads a mostly remote team within the Customer division. The role focuses on coaching, training, and motivating colleagues to deliver outstanding sales and service. Using data-driven insights, you will identify trends, address opportunities, and implement plans to improve key KPIs, always keeping the customer at the centre of decision-making.
Who we are looking for
• Sales Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate sales teams to achieve and exceed targets. Experience in performance management and developing high-performing teams is essential.
• Customer Focus: Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships. Ability to handle escalations and turn service issues into positive outcomes.
• Data Analysis: Competence in interpreting sales and service data to identify trends, set KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Coaching & Training: Skilled in delivering engaging training sessions, providing constructive feedback, and supporting individual development.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire colleagues at all levels.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions. Comfortable challenging the status quo to improve processes.
• Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, digital communication tools, and a commitment to driving a digital-first culture.
• Organisation & Resilience: Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and remain effective under pressure. Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
• Collaboration: Ability to build strong working relationships across departments and work effectively in a hybrid or remote environment.
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the travel industry, sales cycles, and customer expectations is highly desirable.
