The Role

This is a hands-on trading role, sitting at the centre of day-to-day commercial decision making at Newmarket Holidays.
The Trading Manager is responsible for optimising yield, margin, and performance across the tour programme, working at a departure-by-departure level. The role is about being close to the detail, spotting issues early, and taking action, not just reporting performance.
You’ll play an active role in weekly sales and trading forums, help steer decisions on pricing, campaigns, and tour viability, and act as a key escalation point for the Sales and Trade teams. You’ll also work closely with Product and Inventory teams to actively manage tour availability throughout the season.

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong commercial experience in travel trading, yield, revenue, or similar roles

• Comfortable working at a granular level, across large product portfolios

• Confident assessing performance using rate of sale, load factor, and margin

• Experience executing pricing and yield decisions on capacity led products

• Strong Excel skills, experience with BI or pricing tools is a plus

• Confident dealing with stakeholders and resolving escalations

• Collaborative team player

• Enjoys a fast-moving environment and driving change
